Bio: Chris enjoys seeing the growth in his clients as they come to realizations that can improve their lives during their journey of self-discovery through therapy.

Chris' passion is to work with others who have experienced significant trauma and those who would like to discover more about what drives and motivates them to positive changes in their lives. He utilizes a Cognitive Behavioral approach to therapy, in addition to DBT and Narrative perspectives that help him and his clients address issues together. These approaches help his patients to more effectively cope with their stressors and to adopt a healthier, more realistic mindset. This can help to improve our relationships with others. Chris' view of the purpose of mental health therapy can be summed up the following:
-
Learning to navigate boundaries in our relationships
-
Processing our emotions to see what they’re telling us about limitations
-
Analyzing thought patterns and how they impact our behaviors
-
Enhancing communication skills, including healthier internal dialogue and self-talk
As part of his holistic approach to helping his patients enhance their mind-body connection, he is also trained in and offers reflexology massage. This has been especially helpful for patients of his that suffer from muscle tension, cramping, tightness or stiffness, due to anxiety and other prevalent health issues.

When not working, Chris enjoys being outdoors. He enjoys hiking and mountaineering. Chris also enjoys singing, playing the trumpet, playing basketball, tennis and pickle ball.
